We will have a all day Hanoi city tour to visit the most attractions of Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (open only in the morning), Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential palace, one pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple. Lunch at Vietnamese restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Vietnam Ethnic Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake (the lake of the Restored Sword), Ngoc Son Temple and take a one-hour cyclo ride through the old quarter to enjoy the Hanoi’s beautiful late-afternoon colors and to visit a traditional Vietnamese “Long House”… Tonight is free for you to enjoy Hanoi and explore on your own. You will arrive at Lao Cai at about 6.30. Short car trip to Sapa of about 40km from Lao Cai. Check in a hotel in Sapa then enjoy breakfast. Relax or optional visit in the morning. In the afternoon, 2 hours trekking to visit Catcat village, home of a Black H’mong hill tribe, which is just 7 km from Sapa town. Overnight in Sapa.

Start out by car then do a soft walk to visit LaoChai & TaVan village for 2-3 hours on flat footpath. Picnic lunch by the creek. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Stopping for a picnic lunch on the way at a family in Ta Van village. Return to Sapa by car in the afternoon. Balance of the day will visit and shop at Sapa market. Then we will transfer to Lao Cai Railway Station for the Express train back to Hanoi.
